There are six Things Left Behind for players to find, all of which can be obtained on the player’s very first visit to the realm during Chapter 2 of God of War Ragnarok. Those who miss one or two of them need worry not though, as players will be able to return to the realm later on and grab any artefacts that they failed to spot on their initial visit.
Where to Find Things Left Behind #1 (Hreidmar’s Brassard)
Players will be able to find Hreidmar’s Brassard near the first of the two Nornir Chests in the Aurvangar Wetlands. After freezing a geyser to their right prior to the first waterwheel, players will be able to grapple onto a ledge with the Blades of Chaos. The artefact is near a dead dwarf up on this ledge.
Where to Find Things Left Behind #2 (Griep’s Firebomb)
Not long after Sindri upgrades Atreus’ bow to allow him to use Sonic Arrows near the beginning of Chapter 2, players will come to a path that leads directly through one of Nidavellir’s many buildings. Griep’s Firebomb is on the ground in the alleyway that this path leads to, not far from a destructible shield that’s hiding an alcove with a chest.
Where to Find Things Left Behind #3 (Bari’s Grenade)
After riding the first of the two minecarts to reach The Forge area of Svartalfheim, players should head towards the area with the game’s first Dreki fight and then turn around just before reaching the crack. If they head down the small path to the right of the wooden decking that leads back up to the minecart, they’ll find some wood that they can destroy with a melee attack, behind which is the Bari’s Grenade artefact.
Where to Find Things Left Behind #4 (Lofnheid’s Whetstone)
Shortly after their arrival in the Jarnsmida Pitmines area, players will be able to find a golden chain to the right of a giant stone wheel. Sliding down this chain will lead to the water’s edge, where they’ll be able to find Lofnheid’s Whetstone sitting on the ground between some red vines and a small chest. If they reach the Jarnsmida Pitmines Nornir Chest then they have gone too far.
Where to Find Things Left Behind #5 (Althjof’s Statue)
While passing through the Applecore mine, players will come to an area with a branching pathway and some destructible ore to their right. If they head left here, they’ll find an open area with a Bergsra Mother and a few smaller enemies. After defeating them, they should look for the nearby wooden doors, through which they’ll find a red chest and the Althjof’s Statue artefact.
Where to Find Things Left Behind #6 (Durinn’s Stone Statue)
Once players have fully unlocked the spiral cavern in the Applecore, they’ll be able to follow it around to a large wooden door, at which point Atreus will mention that he can hear something on the other side. Before heading through this door, players should look for some green ore to their left and have Atreus shoot it with a Sonic Arrow. Doing so will clear the debris, allowing players to pick up the final Things Left Behind artefact.
