Just like the Leviathan Axe in God of War Ragnarok, the Blades of Chaos have a total of 10 Runic attacks; five Light and five Heavy. Players can either collect them while doing the main quest or completing Favors.

All Blades Of Chaos Light Runic Attacks Location In God Of War Ragnarok
All five of the Light Runic attacks are found within four Realms in God of War Ragnarok:
Flames of Anguish in Svartalfheim Hades Retribution in Alfheim Helios Flare in Vanaheim Rampage of the Furies in Vanaheim Cyclone of Chaos in Midgard
Flames Of Anguish In Svartalfheim
Description: A quick uppercut that creates a fiery geyser, launching nearby enemies. Upgrades: Level 2: 1,750 XP Level 3: 6,750 XP
During The Quest for Tyr chapter in God of War Ragnarok, players will fight a Dreki boss upon arriving at The Forge. This will happen after meeting Durlin and riding a train.
Hades Retribution In Alfheim
Description: A forceful stab that embeds a fiery bomb, which detonates after a brief delay. Upgrades: Level 2: 2,000 XP Level 3: 7,250 XP

While completing Groa’s Secret main quest, players will head to Alfheim and explore the Temple of Light. Inside, there will be many puzzles in God of War Ragnarok that will open the locked gates using the Twilight Stones. Upon utilizing the huge pendants to reach the platform across, follow the steps below to get the Hades Retribution:
Head south up the stairs. Climb a curved set of stairs to the left. Look left and jump down from the marked ledge. Defeat the small pests. Leap down from another marked ledge. Open the Legendary Chest, which rewards the Hades Retribution Light Runic attack in God of War Ragnarok.
Helios Flare In Vanaheim
Description: A long-range fire bolt that inflicts a moderate amount of Burn damage. Upgrades: Level 2: 2,000 XP Level 3: 7,250 XP
After helping Freya remove her curse and defeat Fiske in God of War Ragnarok, players will get to explore The Abandoned Village. Eventually, they’ll arrive at a clearing that has a rotatable crane. A Legendary Chest can be seen on one of the higher platforms but seems unreachable. To open it, complete the following steps:
Jump down and proceed west to the small entrance. Crawl through the hole to its end. Look north and use the Blades of Chaos to destroy the column. Get out and climb back to the eastern platform.
Rotate the crane and jump to the platform across. Go right and rotate the crane again. Swing to the other side and open the Legendary Chest. Obtain the Helios Flare Light Runic attack.
Rampage Of The Furies In Vanaheim
Description: A robust flurry attack that ends in a powerful cross-slash. Upgrades: Level 2: 3,250 XP Level 3: 9,000 XP

While completing Freya’s Missing Peace in God of War Ragnarok, Kratos will help destroy three items upon reaching Vanir Shrine. Break the chains on the right side of the shrine, making the bridge accessible. Next, follow the steps below:
Cross the bridge and defeat the enemies. Ignore the gate to the right and continue southeast to open a larger gate. Burn the blue roots to the right using the Blades of Chaos.
Use the Axe to shoot the wooden lock. Return to the previous gate and open it. An enemy will ambush players, so be careful. Open the Legendary Chest to get the Rampage of the Furies Light Runic attack in God of War Ragnarok.
Cyclone Of Chaos In Midgard
Description: A circling sweep attack that clears out all nearby enemies. Upgrades: Level 2: 2,500 XP Level 3: 8,000 XP
While exploring Midgard during The Word of Fate quest, head to the northeastern side of Tyr’s Temple in God of War Ragnarok. There, players will find a small camp entrance. Defeat the enemies lingering around and open the Legendary Chest to obtain the Cyclone of Chaos Light Runic Attack.
