But like Will Schuester’s (played by Matthew Morrison) Glee Club, sadly, all good things must come to an end. Glee will unfortunately be leaving Netflix on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
Have no fear Gleeks, Glee is not disappearing forever. Thankfully, you can continue to hear “Don’t Stop Believin’”, “Bust Your Windows” and watch the iconic Britney episode at your leisure.
Where To Watch Glee Online
All six seasons are available on the platform for you to binge-watch at your leisure.
This means, if you fancy re-watching the iconic Jane Lynch as Sue Sylvester or the heartbreaking tribute episode to Glee star Cory Monteith, titled “The Quarterback”, you can do so at any time.
Exactly why Glee is leaving Netflix has not been addressed by the streaming service. However, Glee is not the first show to depart from the platform and it will certainly not be the last.
For example, joining Glee on its exit journey in November is School of Rock, Pineapple Express, Broadchurch, The Lincoln Lawyer, Million Dollar Baby, and Rake.
Usually, when shows are removed from Netflix it is related to licensing agreements.
Thankfully, Glee is available on plenty of other platforms but that has not stopped fans from sharing their sadness online and begging for it to stay.
One fan tweeted: “hey Netflix i think you should keep glee”
A second an said: “manifesting for glee to stay on Netflix.”
A third fan added: “they’re taking glee off of Netflix. I am not okay whatsoever.”
A fourth fan chimed: “Netflix please I’m begging don’t take Glee away from me!!!!!!!”
If Netflix is the only platform you want to watch Glee on, you have 121 episodes (each 45 minutes long) to get through before the end of November. Good luck!
Glee is streaming on Netflix now until Tuesday, November 30.
